Another would-be assassin tried to take President Trump’s life today. No, you’re not reading a post from July 2024. It’s September 2024. That at least cut the number of negative headlines on the Trump side in half, as outlets like CNN and AP are forced to cover it as straight news. But that doesn’t stop Google from continuing to serve up course after course of attacks on Trump. You have a report of Ohio’s Republican governor evidently calling Trump “a piece of garbage”. You have a scoop from The Daily Beast that Trump somehow manipulated the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. You have a piece from the New York Times making up fiction about what Trump is really thinking about Ukraine (instead of, you know, listening to what he’s saying).
And when a lunatic tries to kill him, the press just shrugs their shoulders, completely oblivious about the role that they have played in painting Trump as a dangerous lunatic that must be kept from the Oval Office at all costs.
And while the Washington Post and Politico begrudgingly report on the news, they position it as Trump “looking to use it rally support” and as “Republicans being outraged”. I’m sorry, but shouldn’t every man, woman, and child in the United States of America outraged that lunatics are trying to kill ANY presidential candidate?
What’s chilling of all is that most of the people in the mainstream media have no clue what part they’re playing in all this. To the junior reporters and interns at the New York Times coming into work every morning with their lattes and their yoga mats it’s all fun and games. But there are those in the country who think this stuff is real, and they’re being activated one by one.
Of course, the Harris side of the news continues to be glowing and fawning. They dug up alumni from the Reagan administration to say they were supporting Harris. MSNBC found someone to say that voting for Harris would “save conservatism”. And of course, they continually report about any time the polls move in favor of Harris, while ignoring any time they move in favor of Trump—if you’ve been following the news since I started doing this, you’ll believe that Harris is beating Trump 99% to 1%.

24 hours after the latest attempt on Trump’s life, what is the mainstream media saying?
CNN, AP, and the Washington Post are forced to report the news straight. But the others aren’t allow this to interrupt their narrative for even 24 hours. USA Today and MSNBC are back ignoring the assassination attempt altogether and going back to the horse race, hoping beyond hope that no sympathy gets generated for Trump.
But take a close look at what some of these headlines are saying:
- The New York Times – Trump is the one using “harsh language”
- The Hill – Trump is the one receiving “special treatment”
- Reuters – Kamala Harris is the one being threatened—by Elon Musk
- WSJ – Kamala Harris is the “safer” choice
- Ohio Capital Journal – Trump will take our nation backward
- The New Republic – Harris is the one being violently threatened
- NBC News, Fox News – Harris supporters are the ones being harassed
What would happen if a lunatic read these headlines, day in, day out, week in, week out, month in, month out and convinces himself (or is convinced by others) that he would be seen as a hero throughout time for ridding the world of Orange Hitler?
We’re finding out before our eyes. The mainstream media doesn’t have blood on its hands yet. Why does it seem so determined to?

The assassination attempt has been completely memory-holed, just as the first one was. This one took a much shorter time because there was no dramatic video that had to be countered.
For a second, I thought there were two headlines from Politico and The Hill that seemed actually kind of positive for Trump. But no, as soon as you click through to read the article, you immediately see the mockery of the elite Politico media laughing at religious Trump supporters and somehow attributing it not to their faith in God, but some kind of power that Trump has over them (in fairness to them, as godless atheists, that’s their only explanation). SImilarly, I clicked to The Hill to read what seemed like a fair headline about Trump’s town hall with Sarah Huckabee Sanders, but immediately read headlines like “Trump stokes fear” and “Trump mocks climate change”.
Again, do these people have ANY self-awareness? As they accuse Trump of brainwashing his supporters, do they not see how they’re doing it to their own readers and listeners–with deadly consequences?
In the meantime, surprise! More senior military officials and young voters are rushing to support Harris, and yet again, she’s seeing the best polls of the year! At this rate, it seems like she’s ahead in the polls 9000% to 0%. Good for her!

Oh, look! 100 MORE ex-Republican officials endorsed Trump! And yes, the Teamsters Union declined to endorse either candidate, but look! A small offshoot of the Teamsters Union did! It’s Kamalametum! The Atlantic puts it the best about the Trump campaign: This is What a Losing Campaign Looks Like.
One of the greatest accomplishments of Donald Trump will be how he exposed the left-wing media and its enablers like Google News everyone can see EXACTLY who they are. The only open question now is, will your average American open his eyes to see it?
People like Reid Hoffman and Mark Cuban aren’t idiots. They see exactly what’s going on. It’s just that the know that in any totalitarian state, the ones who lick the boots of the people in power are the ones who will be able to keep their wealth. It’s those like Elon Musk and David Sacks who will be stripped of all their wealth and sent to be re-educated. In the meantime the vast majority of the populace will shut up, as long as they have their occasional dose of bread and circuses.
America is at a turning point, just as it was in 1781, 1861, and 1964. Which way will America turn next?

After doing this for a few months now, you start to see patterns. The biggest patterns:
- Accusing the enemy of what you do. Notice how the New York Times manages to twist comments Trump made at an event fighting anti-Semitism into an apparent anti-Semitic comment. AP cites unpleasant things one Trump supporter have said into their story to attack Trump, while thousands of Harris supporters literally celebrated the kidnapping and murder of Israeli civilians in Gaza.
- Selective storytelling. Joe Rogan spent several minutes on his show talking about how accusations that Trump would be a dictator were nonsense and how Trump did well on the economy. USA Today ignores this and cherry picks a few seconds where Rogan praises Harris’s debate performance.
In other news, for the first time since 1992 the Teamsters union refused to endorse any candidate, as 70% of their members support Trump. What’s the news from the Washington Post? They cherry-pick a few local unions that support Harris and paint them as “rushing” to endorse Harris. - Rushing to Harris’s defense. “Russian collusion” was turned into a multi-year weapon against Trump, despite no evidence that the Trump campaign was behind the Wikileaks release (remember, that was Hillary officials who foolishly fell for phishing attacks). And yet when there is clear evidence that Iran hacked Trump’s campaign materials and gave it to Harris, the press ignores the whole question of how and why that happened and circles the wagons around Harris. “She didn’t use any of the materials!”
At this point, the shock isn’t that the media whitewashing / brainwashing is happening. It’s that Americans are still completely clueless about it.

The same patterns continue. The establishment media ignores the fact that Harris’s appearance on Oprah was rambling and confused, as if she was trying to remember all the things she was told to memorize for the debate last week and attempt to add her own spin to it. If you go to X you’ll see video after video of her word salads. But on Google News, they report that Harris is suddenly a champion of the 2nd Amendment. They also make sure to mention her attacking Trump on abortion—despite the fact that abortion is a state issue, not a federal issue. And of course, there’s the daily reporting on the newest endorsement—today she was endorsed by world famous statesman, economic wizard, and foreign policy expert Billie Ellish.
In the meantime, they’re continuing to cultivate the seed they planted about Trump somehow being anti-Semitic when he asked Jewish people to vote for him, they continue to use Trump supporters to plant guilt-by-association stories, and they amplify voices of like Mark Cuban, while ignoring voices like Elon Musk.

Harris “ROCKS” the election, co-opts conservative culture, and ups lead over Trump. Trump is “getting desperate”, entering a “turbulent week”, and his company “skids to new low”.
This is getting tedious at this point. One just hopes that the American people can see the level of dishonesty, selective reporting, and outright lies coming from the media.
